LED modules and LED bulbs are
indeed free of mercury, but contain electronic components.
They are therefore subject to the provisions of the Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Act (WEEE). LEDs may therefore not in the normal
household waste. You must be collected separately.
LED lamps shall be treated as energy saving lamps and will be issued free of charge to designated collection. After the Electrical and
Electronic manufacturers and importers are responsible for the return and recycling.
The German air industry has established for this
